The panel comes from the church of the former monastery of the sisters kapucinessen in the SintRochusstraat. It is most likely a private work by Frans II Francken (15811642) who performed the same subject several times. The panel in St. Andrew's Church can be dated around 16151620. In the 19th century it was inserted into the neobaroque epitaph in black and white marble by E. Albrecht (+ 1869) and J.A. Ansiau (+ 1879). During the sale of the Kapuciness Monastery in 2001, the sisters donated the epitaph to St. Andrew's Church. It is now set up in the northern beak.
