The baby Jesus sits on his mother's lap and crowns the kneeling Rosalia of Palermo with a wreath of roses. Rosalia is adorned in a sumptuous robe of gold brocade. The apostles Peter and Paul are the witnesses present. Because of the brilliant colors and the smoothness of the lines, this work is more than just a copy of the painting by Antoon van Dijck from 1629.
