Both the middle panel depicting the shepherds who worship the Child Jesus just being wrapped in cloths by his mother as side panels were made by Pieter Pourbus on behalf of Joos de Damhouder and his wife Louise de Chantraines (respectively on the left) and right panel depicted with children and patron saint Judocus and Lodewijk). On the back of the side panels are two scenes: the Circumcision of Jesus and the Adoration by the Magi.
